I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for Rutherford County School Board, Zone 2. With a decade of experience as an educator, advanced degrees in education, and a commitment to service from my time in the United States Army, I am eager to bring a unique perspective to our school board.

Educator at heart: Ever since I was 13 years old, I knew I wanted to be an educator. For the past ten years, I have dedicated myself to shaping young minds and fostering an environment of learning and growth. As a teacher, I've witnessed firsthand the impact a quality education can have on a child's future, and I am driven to ensure that every student in Rutherford County has access to the best educational opportunities possible.

Advanced Degrees in Education: My commitment to educational excellence is reflected in my academic journey. I hold advanced degrees in education, equipping me with the knowledge and insights needed to navigate the challenges and complexities of our education system. I am ready to leverage this expertise to advocate for policies that prioritize student success and teacher support.

Service to Nation: Before embarking on my career in education, I proudly served in the United States Army. My time in the military instilled in me a deep sense of duty, discipline, and commitment to the well-being of others. These values will guide my approach as I work to serve the educational needs of our community.

Vision for Rutherford County Schools: My vision for Rutherford County Schools, centers on collaboration, transparency, and student-focused policies. By working together with parents, teachers, and the community, we can create an inclusive and nurturing environment that prepares our students for the challenges of the future.

Community Collaboration: I am dedicated to fostering strong partnerships between our schools and the community. By actively engaging with parents, teachers, and local businesses, we can enhance the overall educational experience and create opportunities for our students to thrive.

Transparency and Accountability: Transparency and accountability are at the forefront of my approach. If elected, I will ensure that decisions affecting our schools are made collaboratively, with input from all stakeholders, and that the School Board remains accountable to the community it serves.
